Yanks Sign Warner Madrigal to Minor-League Deal
In 2 seasons (08-09) with the Rangers, Madrigal went 0-3, with a 6.10 ERA. In 35 games in AA and AAA, the 26-year-old went 5-2 with a 3.73 ERA. In 50.2 IP he allowed 21 ER on 41 hits, walked 14 and struck out 42.

Warner Madrigal sent down
The right-hander lost his roster spot for Matt Harrison, who was activated from the DL to make tonight's start. Madrigal, who has had three stints with the Rangers, was optioned to Oklahoma City. Madrigal didn't make any appearances after being called up Sunday.
