Braves recall OF Wilkin Ramirez from Gwinnett
The Atlanta Braves have recalled outfielder Wilkin Ramirez from Triple-A Gwinnett to start against the Texas Rangers.
Ramirez is playing left field and hitting fifth in Saturday's game.
The 25-year-old Ramirez was hitting .238 with seven homers, 21 RBIs and eight stolen bases at Gwinnett. He was 1 for 3 with a double in a short stay with Atlanta in May.

Braves Acquire Wilkin Ramirez for PTNBL
The Atlanta Braves have acquired Detroit Tigers outfielder Wilkin Ramirez, recently designated for assignment, for a player to be named later or cash considerations.
Ramirez, 24, will join the Braves Triple-A Gwinnett team.
He’s appeared in 15 major league games, all in 2009, going 4-for-11 with a triple and a homer.
