Dodgers lefty Adam Liberatore will undergo a debridement procedure tomorrow on his left elbow, the team announced. He is expected to be able to recover in time for a full 2017 season, per the team’s statement. Liberatore, 29, was a revelation for the Dodgers in the first half of the campaign. Challenged by new manager Dave Roberts, Dodgers relief pitcher Adam Liberatore has become key contributor

At 6-foot-3, and 240 pounds with a large – he’ll tell you so – shaved head, dark beard and the ability to glower like an extra from “Sons of Anarchy,” Adam Liberatore is not the kind of guy to whom you want to deliver bad news. “Maybe a...

Adam Liberatore has been good this season, but can he keep it up?

In the offseason, I wrote about the Dodgers needing a left-handed fastball-slider reliever to pair with J.P. Howell and, before he imploded, Luis Avilan. There were some decent free agents, but the trade market looked like the best bet. I did mention Adam Liberatore, but wasn’t completely convinced he could be the guy. Turns out, he has been the team’s best left-handed reliever...

Dodgers' Friedman missed out on Liberatore in Tampa, not in Los Angeles

Dodger reliever Adam Liberatore never got a chance to get called up with his former team, the Tampa Bay Rays, but it wasn’t like he didn’t get noticed. Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman, former executive vice president of baseball operations for the Rays, noticed and made sure to take him away from the Rays when he joined the Dodgers. Per the Orange County...

Dodgers acquire Joel Peralta, Adam Liberatore for Jose Dominguez and Greg Harris

It didn’t take long for Andrew Friedman to make a deal with his old organization. The Dodgers on Thursday night acquired right-hander Joel Peralta and left-hander Adam Liberatore for flame-thrower Jose Dominguez and Low-A prospect Greg Harris. At first glance, it seems like a pretty reasonable trade. The Dodgers get a dependable reliever and a lefty option for a guy who probably...
