Rangers call up top prospect Olt from minors
The Texas Rangers have purchased the contract of highly-touted prospect Mike Olt from Double-A Frisco.
To make room for Olt on the roster, the Rangers have optioned infielder Brandon Snyder to Triple-A Round Rock. The Rangers have also moved right-hander Colby Lewis, who will miss the rest of the season with a torn flexor tendon in his right elbow, to the 60-day disabled list.
