White Sox Recall Brian Omogrosso, Option Donnie Veal
The Chicago White Sox have recalled right handed pitcher Brian Omogrosso from Triple-A Charlotte. To make room for him on the active roster, Chicago optioned left handed pitcher Donnie Veal to the same farm affiliate. Omogrosso has struggled mightily at AAA this year so this isn’t what they call a well-deserved promotion.

White Sox recall Omogrosso, send Veal to Triple-A
The Chicago White Sox have recalled right-hander Brian Omogrosso from Triple-A Charlotte Wednesday and have optioned left-hander Donnie Veal to the International League team.
Omogrosso was 0-1 with a 6.52 ERA in 9 2-3 innings with the Knights this season. He had 2.57 ERA in 21 innings for Chicago last year.
