D-backs: No rush on Ross' return
Outfielder Cody Ross (calf) ran at 50 percent of his weight-bearing load on a treadmill Tuesday and took batting practice later. There seems to be some concern as to his availability for Opening Day.
Dont know yet, general manager Kevin Towers said. Were erring on the side of being cautious. We dont want to rush him.

Calf injury shuts down Ross for 2-3 weeks
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Diamondbacks outfielder Cody Ross will be shut down for two to three weeks with a lower left leg injury, but he expects to be back in time to prepare himself enough for Opening Day.
