Padres Promote RHP Ambriz, Option Peterson

The San Diego Padres announced today that they have promoted righty Hector Ambriz to join the Major League club and 25-man roster from El Paso. Ambriz, who made his major league debut with the Cleveland Indians in 2010, has been pitching with the Triple-A El Paso Chihuahuas. In order to make room for Ambriz, the Padres optioned infielder Jace Peterson back down to Triple-A El Paso...
