Pirates acquire Jeff Larish from Red Sox
Tim Williams was first to report tonight that the Pirates have acquired corner infielder Jeff Larish from the Boston Red Sox for cash. Larish will report to AAA-Indianapolis.
Larish, 29, has a .224/.308/.380 line in 276 MLB plate appearances over parts of three seasons with Detroit and Oakland. He has four seasons of AAA experience an .834 OPS over his time there.
