Cards sweep Pitt, win Big East title
The University of Louisville defeated the visiting Pittsburgh Panthers on Saturday afternoon at Jim Patterson Stadium to claim sole possession of the Big East Conference regular season title. Louisville Baseball Defeats Indiana With A Walk-Off Sac-Fly
The No. 10 ranked Louisville baseball club knocked off No. 14 Indiana yesterday in nine innings evening at Jim Patterson Stadium in front of a crowd of 3,530. In the bottom of the ninth with Cole Sturgeon on third, Danny Rosenbaum lifted the 0-1 pitch to right-center field for the sac-fly, sending Sturgeon to the plate with the game winning run.

Louisville Beats Tide In 14 Innings
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Alabama baseball team suffered a heartbreaking 4-3 loss in 14 innings to No. 5 Louisville on Friday evening from Jim Patterson Stadium.
