Tampa Bay Rays Recall Josh Lueke, Disable Brandon Gomes
The Tampa Bay Rays have placed right-handed pitcher Brandon Gomes on the 15-day disabled list due to a right lat strain. Taking his place on the active roster, the organization has recalled right-handed pitcher Josh Lueke from Triple-A Durham. Lueke will serve as a middle relief guy out of the Rays bullpen.

Rays reliever Brandon Gomes has been placed on the 15-day D.L., according to Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times.
Gomes was placed on the 15-day DL today, retroactive to May 8, with a right lat strain. RHP Josh Lueke was called up from Triple-A Durham.
Gomes was 0-1 in 14 games this season with a 5.40 ERA.
