Cubs’ Julio Borbon Fakes Being Hit by Pitch in Hilariously Bad Fashion (Animation)
When playing for a team as hopeless as the Cubs, sometimes embellishing a bit to your advantage isn’t the worst idea.
That’s what Chicago center fielder Julio Borbon was thinking Thursday afternoon, at least, but his acting skills could use some serious work. When a pitch from San Diego’s Luke Gregerson landed in the dirt near his feet, Borbon hopped up and down as if the ball...

MLB player's hilariously bad acting job
This may not be an actual flop, but we are definitely going to classify it as such. Â Cubs outfielder Julio Borbon, who you probably have never heard of until now, seems to be one of the first MLB players to bring flopping to the mainstream baseball audience. Â Check out the slightly delayed and fake reaction to a ball that bounced in the dirt, and never came close to him. Â Soccer...

Chicago Cubs Claim Julio Borbon Off Waivers
MLB News: Julio Borbon was claimed off of the waiver wire by the Chicago Cubs from the Texas Rangers Friday. Spending his whole career in the Texas system, Borbon has a solid glove, but very little power and while he possesses very nice speed, his knowledge of the art of running has a few holes in it. There have been plenty of gems that were found on the waivers after being cast...
