Catcher Landon Powell, whom the Mets recently signed to a Minor League contract, lost his infant daughter to a fatal liver condition last night.
Powell’s baby daughter, Izzy, was born prematurely and was diagnosed with hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH).
