Rockies put Francis on DL, add LeMahieu, Scahill
The Colorado Rockies have put left-hander Jeff Francis on the 15-day disabled list with a strained left groin and designated infielder Reid Brignac for assignment.
The Rockies also recalled infielder D.J. LeMahieu and right-hander Rob Scahill from Triple-A Colorado Springs on Thursday.
