Cubs select Lopez from Triple-A
The Chicago Cubs have selected veteran right-hander Rodrigo Lopez's contract from Triple-A Iowa and outrighted infielder Luis Valbuena to the minor league club.
The Cubs announced the moves before Saturday's game against Washington.
