The UFC and Spike TV on Tuesday issued a joint press release announcing they'd "knocked out the competition" this past Saturday, August 15, with 2 million viewers tuning in to watch a replay of UFC 100 on Spike TV. Strikeforce's "Carano vs. Cyborg" event, which aired live on the premium network Showtime directly opposite UFC 100 on Spike TV,averaged 576,000 viewers and peaked with 856,000 for the card's main event between Gina Carano and Cris "Cyborg" Santos
