By Gavin Vincent September 03, 2009WEC stand-outs Donald Cerrone and Leonard Garcia have opened their doors to all aspiring mixed martial artists. The cost? A mere $500 gets you a room in their house and the opportunity to hone your skills under the watchful eye of world-class fighters.
"Basically, they pay $500 a month, each person, plus they have to pay for their own groceries," said Garcia. "We give half of that to Greg Jackson and the school, to increase revenue at the school, and we keep the other half for bills and whatever else. So it's four people every month. So that's an extra $1,000 for us a month, an extra $1,000 for us a month, and they're all pitching in for their own groceries. So we're benefiting a little bit, but in the long run we're hoping that it will give somebody the opportunity to come out and make it."
