Fedor injures hand; breaks nose

The humble Russian with otherworldly ability suffered a broken nose and may have broken his left hand during his thrilling two round affair with a very game Brett Rogers. Rogers (10-1) who outweighed Fedor Emelianenko (33-1) by more than 35 pounds, broke the Russian Sambo world champions' nose with a stiff right jab to open the first round. Emelianenko proved he was human by bleeding profusely throughout the remainder of the fights first stanza -- often being forced to breathe exclusively through his mouth (a no-no for fighters) due to the heavy volume of blood pouring like a faucet from his nostrils.
