The humble Russian with otherworldly ability suffered a broken nose and may have broken his left hand during his thrilling two round affair with a very game Brett Rogers.
Rogers (10-1) who outweighed Fedor Emelianenko (33-1) by more than 35 pounds, broke the Russian Sambo world champions' nose with a stiff right jab to open the first round. Emelianenko proved he was human by bleeding profusely throughout the remainder of the fights first stanza -- often being forced to breathe exclusively through his mouth (a no-no for fighters) due to the heavy volume of blood pouring like a faucet from his nostrils.
Any doubts left surrounding the source of Emelianenko's DNA were put to rest later that evening when the Stary Oskol, Russian native was sent to the hospital follo...
