For a couple of weeks now, MMA fans around the world have been speculating what Dana White's "shocking" announcement was going to be. It was promised it would be something that would shape the course of the UFC for years to come. Rumors were running rampant on what it could be. Was Floyd Mayweather signing with the UFC? Did the UFC strike a network TV deal with FOX? Was Dana actually doing business with Vince McMahon and were the two going to buy the company from the Fertitta brothers?

A few days ago, Dana said in an interview that this "huge announcement" thing had gotten blown out of proportion by the media - that it was an announcement that concerned the UFC as a business more than it would concern the media. For the UFC as a business, it would be a huge announcement and it would be a real sign of where the UFC is headed - after hearing the news, I feel like Dana delivered exactly as promised. This isn't some sexy matchup; but it's certainly a huge step for the UFC as a business and it definitely gives you an idea of where the company is going as a business. It's no longer the billionaire's plaything - it's now the billionaire's career

An Open Letter To Dana White
Dear Dana,
Thank you for being a shrewd business man that squeezes your competition by the balls. A man who makes your competition sit knee deep in red ink due to your no bones about it attitude. You use words like f&*k more than 50 times a minute and can bench 315 pounds, but you know the reason I really love you??????
