Ilya Dall, a former girlfriend of Roberto Alomar who lived with him for 3 years, is suing the second-baseman for negligence and seeking $15M. According to the suit, Alomar got a positive test in 2006 after seeking treatment for shingles, fatigue, and cough. The couple went to a disease specialist who found a mass in Alomar's chest, his skin turned purple, and foaming at the mouth.

Alomar's attorney claims it is a frivolous lawsuit and his client is healthy. Alomar's father, Sandy Alomar, notes that he has heard nothing about any major health problems with Roberto, and that he probably would have.
