This weekend the main event it the much ballyhooed matchup between Randy Couture and Brock Lesnar. Last I checked Lesner is a slight favorite in Vegas and as much as I love Randy I have to agree.
While I think Randy has been great I just don't see how he can match up with Lesnar. Randy is a good wrestler but he is not as good as Brock. Randy is nowhere near as strong as Brock either so I see Lesner ground and pounding Randy to death. I say Lesnar in 2 rounds.
Those who support Couture will point to his experience and ability to gameplan. Well I don't know how you gameplan against a brick shithouse. If Randy was known for his submissions I could see him take Lesner down like Frank Mir did. But take a look at the video of that fight and see how Lesnar was DESTROYING Mir until he got caught and submitted. Look at the incredible speed for a 300 pounder.

Lesnar beats Couture for UFC Heavyweight title
Brock Lesnar, in just his fourth professional MMA fight, won the UFC Heavyweight Championship from Randy Couture last night at UFC 91 with a TKO in the second round. Not sure what this says about MMA, but to me it says bad things if a seasoned (maybe too seasoned at 45 years-old) veteran can get beat down by what would be called a rookie in other sports.
