By Natalia Baage October 09, 2009Former UFC welterweight champion, Matt Serra, will return to the Octagon at the Feb. 6 event.
Serra has accepted to be on the unannounced February card, even though an opponent is yet to be found for him. According to FanHouse.com, Frank Trigg is rumored to be a top-runner to face him, however, Serra would not confirm or deny any reports.
Serra also wants to engage in a rematch with his rival Matt Hughes. Serra lost a close decision to Hughes at UFC 98 in May.
"There's no way you are going to tell me I lost that last fight," Serra told FanHouse. "I don't care. I mean, whatever, I don't care what the judges say. There was one guy trying to end that and there was one guy trying to squeak out a victory, you know? That's pretty much my take on it. I thought I won the first and the third round."
While both men had stated that their rivalry was over, and Hughes said that he wants to move on...
