Nate Quarry To Replace Chris Leben At UFC 84?
by Ariel Helwani, MMARated.com
Last week, I was tipped off by a reliable source that Nate Quarry was being considered as a replacement for Chris Leben should his legal troubles get worse. Here are the details: ""The Crippler" turned himself in to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office in Portland, Oregon, on April 30 because of an old Driving Under the Influence (DUI) probation violation. His release is set for May 27, 2008 (he gets credit for time already served), which gives him only 12 days until his scheduled showdown with Michael Bisping at UFC 85: "Bedlam" at the O2 Arena in London, England, on June 7." So, does this mean Quarry will now step in to fight "The Count?" All signs point to yes. Stay tuned...
