By Natalia Baage November 05, 2009Popular Canadian fighter Patrick Cote is expected to return to the UFC in April, 2010. Cote has been out of commission for over a year.  During his middleweight title fight to Anderson Silva in Oct. 2008, Cote was forced into a defeat after suffering a knee injury in the third round. Cote has not fought since then, but had surgery on his MCL in August.  He is hoping to make his return soon. "Still following my rehab program and it's going very well !!" Cote wrote on his Facebook page.  "Back in shape and can't wait to fight again.  I ll be back in April guys !!" Cote (13-5) has not been assigned to a card yet nor has he been given a potential opponent, as his return date is more than five months ahead.*Content originally appeared on FiveKnuckles.com
