Quinton Jackson is unveiling some great new material on Twitter featuring Forrest Griffin cracks. Griffin has become a bit of a laughingstock on the blogosphere for his postfight dash from the Octagon after his knockout loss at the hands of Anderson Silva at UFC 101. Rampage tweeted just minutes after the great escape went down and apparently got a rash of crap on Twitter. He then responded by saying lighten up pansies. That initial backlash didn't stop him from firing out his latest Tweet where he claims Griffin is still running somewhhere in Southern California. One positive for Griffin, he's not deaf and his jaw isn't dislocated in spite of reports that came out Sunday morning.

UFC Quick Quote: Forrest Griffin’s speedy exit at UFC 101 ‘wasn’t really a big deal’

“He wasn’t injured. He’s an emotional guy and he just didn’t feel like sticking around. He’s done that before. After the Jardine fight, they kind of surrounded him a little bit, but he said a couple of things into the mic and left the cage pretty quickly. Just the emotions of…here is a guy who [...]

Griffin's dash hits the little screen

Why couldn't his name be Ted or Lou? Forrest Griffin had to know he was in trouble as soon as he bolted from the Octagon on Saturday night. The "Run Forrest, Run" headlines were everywhere. Now comes this fine job of video editing mixing Forrest Gump with Griffin's dash. Can you name all five faces in the final montage? Tip via Fightlinker

Forrest Griffin, Born to Run -- according to Barnes and Noble

Forrest Griffin bolted from the cage after losing to Anderson Silva at UFC 101. His book, "Got Fight," is now directly in front of "Born to Run" on Barnes and Noble's top sports books. A coincidence? Of course, but a pretty funny one.

UFC 101: SILVA MASTERS ‘FADEAWAY KNOCKOUT’

When Quinton “Rampage” Jackson allegedly raised concerns over the integrity of Forrest Griffin’s chin before UFC 86, Griffin responded by beating Jackson in a unanimous (yet controversial) decision. But it was still stunning to see Anderson Silva take on Griffin in UFC 101 Saturday and knock him out with a simple right jab to that [...]

Run Forrest Run

By Karl Maple August 10, 2009An consensus pang of empathy accompanied Forrest Griffin's strangely brisk jog from the Watchovia center on Saturday night. The amiable Griffin - whose endearing self deprecation, bone-dry wit and brawling style, have brought broad popularity - was cruelly exposed by the technique, speed and brilliance of Anderson Silva. It made for...

Did Forrest Griffin Throw the Fight?

Its been more than a couple of days now but the events of UFC 101 still play a bit like a broken record in the mind for many a UFC fan, not least due to the controversies that arose. First Sadollah's fight was stopped, to what seemed like to everyone in the crowd and his mother, prematurely; and as always with split decisions, decisions end up being debating points, not the definitive...

Top 5 Pound-for-Pound Fighters after UFC 101 | WILD BEATDOWNS!

What happened at UFC 101 has shaken up my predicted post-UFC 98 pound-for-pound Top 5, so here are my updated rankings.1. Anderson Silva : Toyed with Forrest Griffin like a true kung fu master. The most awe-inspiring martial artist since Bruce Lee. So dominant in the middleweight division that there's talk of his moving up permanently to light heavweight. Holds 10-0 record in...

Tito Ortiz: "I would like to test Anderson Silva; Forrest Griffin was a little skinny."

By Gavin Vincent August 10, 2009"Forrest looked a little skinny. It maybe looked like he overtrained a lot. With Anderson, his head moves great. That's the type of guy you don't wanna box with. You wanna push the pace by closing the gap and putting pressure on him. Forrest being a light-heavyweight, he should have put his weight on him. He tried to box with a guy that's a lot faster...

Griffin's ass whoopin

Anderson Silva's play time. He beat Forrest Griffin's ass and treated like his favorite childhood toy. Dan Henderson (Forrest's dad), is gonna have to lay an almighty ass whooping against the adult that nearly killed his child. Dan Henderson don't take kindly to that child abuse ********.

Create-a-Caption: 'Dude, are you trying to punch me?'

Some of Anderson Silva's moves to avoid punches from Forrest Griffin at UFC 101 were downright matrix-like. Take your shot at a caption in the comments, and read on for winners of our last Create-a-Caption. UFC & WEC Post-Mortem: The Spider’s Sense, Torres’ Humanity, More

If you’re only as good as your last fight, Anderson Silva exited the Octagon on Saturday in far better shape than he entered. After two performances that had fans grumbling, the UFC decided to inflame Silva’s attitude by getting Forrest Griffin to chase him. Hopefully, Griffin got hazard pay for it: after looking aimless and ineffectual in the opening minutes, Griffin walked...

Anderson Silva vs. the World

In flattening Forrest Griffin Saturday, Anderson Silva needed only 3:23 to restore a reputation that was in considerable danger of collapsing.

Anderson, Ideals and Atychiphobia

Anderson Silva is a great fighter. No, I know, that's not a startling revelation, let alone an interesting one. After his three-minute mauling of Forrest Griffin
