UFC Alessio Sakara

According to the Swedish Mixed Martial Arts Federation, Alessio Sakara (Pictured) and Paulo Thiago will be forced to ride the pine for 28 days following their devastating knockout losses this past Saturday at “UFC on FUEL TV: Gustafsson vs. Silva.”

MMAJunkie.com reports no other fighters that participated in the show were issued medical suspensions.

Thiago found himself on the wrong end of a highlight-reel KO after attempting to block Siyar Bahadurzada’s right hand/forearm with his face. The Brazilian was unconscious just 42 seconds into their welterweight affair.

Sakara, on the other hand, was separated from his senses in the night’s co-main event against Brian Stann. The American war hero disposed of Sakara with some vicious ground-and-pound at 2:26 in the 1stRound.

“UFC on FUEL TV: Gustafsson vs. Silva” took place inside Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm. The show marked the Octagon’s debut in Sweden.
