Earlier today the World Series of Fighting announced the date and venue of their second event. Along with that news they announced that they have partnered with NBC Sports for the next three years. Along with the long anticipated bantamweight match-up between Tyson Nam and Marlon Moraes, WSOF President Ray Sefo announced to Stephie Daniels a heavyweight showdown for the main event. “I have some surprises for you. As a matter of fact, we have a verbal agreement for our main event. It’s Andrei Arlovski vs. Anthony Johnson. It will be at heavyweight.” Arlovski (19-9 1NC) has won his last five fights, with his last being a first round beatdown of Devin Cole in the main event of the first World Series of Fighting event. Johnson (14-4) had constant weight issues under the UFC banner when he fought at welterweight.
