Bas Rutten will tell you how to defend your wife from a drunk man, he'll tell you where to apply the hot sauce when he's knocked out, and he'll tell you exactly how his boy's fight should have went down at Saturday night. Bas Rutten thinks the fight should have been stopped in the second round. Thats' honest, unbiased fight analysis right there. Just like most of the people on this board said, the second round is when the fight should have been stopped because Kimbo did absolutely nothing to defend those punches. Take it as it is, kimbo can't be making the same mistakes against the 7-0 Bret Rogers....

  • I'm torn on that one - on the one hand, it COULD have been stopped, and most fights would have been stopped right there because Kimbo wasn't doing anything to protect himself. On the other hand, those punches weren't coming down hard - it looked more like Thompson was trying to pat Kimbo on the face. I don't think Kimbo wasn't protecting himself because he was hurt as much as it was out of inexperience and not knowing what to do in that situation. But, again, I can see why people say it should have been stopped.
