According to WCCO-Minneapolis, Brock Lesnar has diverticulitis, which is a digestive disease involving the formation of pouches on the outside of the colon. From everything I've read, the usual course of treatment is "colon rest". The patient eats a low-fiber diet to reduce their bowel movements and give their colon a chance to recover. Lesnar's case might be more severe and require surgery, as Dana White indicated to TMZ. Either way, this is the type of thing that will wreak havoc on a fighter's body, especially one of Lesnar's size. It's not easy to maintain a healthy weight upwards of 260 lbs. Even if he doesn't need surgery, I think an Interim Heavyweight Title is in the cards. (I don't know how I got through that without making a "horseshoe up his ass" joke.)
