The king of trash talk is back.
Former UFC Middleweight Contender and Current UFC Light Heavyweight Contender, Chael Sonnen has taken to Twitter to once again poke jabs at former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson.
“A guy on the ROSTER is DUCKING FIGHTS until his contract expires!For legal reasons,I can’t say his name, but it rhymes with JENTON QUACKSON!”
This isn’t the first time Sonnen has trash talked Jackson. To keep the Ronda Rousey hype-train rolling, he made fun of Jackson saying that, “Mitt Romney has a new favorite fighter and Rampage Jackson has another opponent he can’t beat.”
“Rampage” had called out Sonnen in the past, stating that he “sucks.” However, when given the opportunity to coach alongside the Oregon native on TUF 17, Jackson turned it down.
The former champ was expected to take Mauricio “Shogun” Rua in early 2012, however a knee injury prevented him from taking part in the fight. He was then expected to take on Glover Teixeira at UFC 1
