After Chan Sung “The Korean Zombie” Jung (Pictured) and Dustin Poirier engaging in a brief Twitter battle, the UFC decided to grant the featherweights their wish. On Friday afternoon, the organization announced the 145-pounders will headline “UFC on FUEL TV 3″ on May 15th.

Jung fights for the first time since posting a seven second knockout win over Mark Hominick at UFC 140 this past December. Although he has rattled off two consecutive victories, the fan favorite is only 2-2 under Zuffa’s watch.

Poirier makes a quick turnaround from last Saturday’s 1stRound submission over Max Holloway. The UFC 143 scrap marked “The Diamond’s” fifth straight W.

While the featherweight affair headlines the festivities, their shootout is only scheduled go three rounds.

The event takes place inside Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia. FUEL TV will broadcast the event’s main card live.

Here are the athletes slated to appear in the freebie fight card:

Igor Pokrajac vs. Thiago Silva

Tom Lawlor vs. Jason MacDonald

Donald Cerrone vs. Yves Edwards

Chan Sung “The Korean Zombie” Jung vs. Dustin Poirier (Three-Round Fight)
