Despite making his big league debut in victorious fashion at UFC 155, Derek Brunson didn’t blow many people away with his unanimous decision win over Chris Leben (Pictured) – including “The Crippler” himself. “i just watched the fight. Hindsight is 20/20 there’s def some things i would change about my performance. Coaches game plan was dead on,” Leben tweeted. “I just had a little ring rust. But that being said derek brunson is a boring fighter the times he hit me, i let him just to get him to swing.” Sure, Leben’s post can be seen as sour grapes since he was the loser of the bout. However, UFC president Dana White was also bored to tears with their scrap. At the post-fight press conference, White compared Brunson to a teenager staring at the clock waiting for the school bell to ring to put him out of his misery. “The other kid was looking at the clock like he was a 14-year-old waiting for school to get out the entire fight. Looking at the clock,” White stated. “You’re in the UFC your first time, and I wasn’t very impressed.” As far as the ring rust Leben was battling, he has nobody to blame but himself for his year-long drug suspension. Leben was banned last November by the UFC after testing positive for Oxycodone and Oxymorphone (painkillers) following his loss to Mark Munoz. It marked the second time troubled 32-year-old had failed a drug exam. The steroid Stanozolol was found in his system after losing to Michael Bisping at UFC 89 in October 2008.
