After a night of freebie MMA action, UFC president Dana White awarded Carlos Condit (pictured), Martin Kampmann, Brandon Thatch, Zak Cummings each an additional $50,000 for their special performances Wednesday night at “UFC Fight Night: Condit vs. Kampmann 2.”
As main event fighters should, Condit and Kampmann put on the most thrilling performance of the evening – at least, according to White. Their shootout took home “Fight of the Night.”
Thatch made his big league debut in spectacular fashion with an impressive TKO victory over Justin Edwards. The showing was good enough to earn the Octagon rookie “Knockout of the Night” honors.
Cummings slapped on a nifty D’arce choke on Ben Alloway to score “Submission of the Night.”
UFC Fight Night took place inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Carlos Condit avenged his first UFC loss in a big way. The former UFC interim welterweight champion defeated Martin Kampmann by fourth round TKO last night at UFC Fight Night 27.
Condit got off to a sluggish start in the first round when Kampmann took Condit down and controlled the rest of the round.
