‘Countdown to UFC 155′ debuts on Christmas Day

The UFC will debut ‘Countdown to UFC 155: Dos Santos vs. Velasquez’ on Christmas Day. The one-hour preview special will follow the two main event fighters as they prepare for their much anticipated rematch. Junior dos Santos (15-1) and Cain Velasquez (10-1) will square off in the main event at UFC 155 on December 29. The two first squared off at the inaugural FOX show in November of 2011. With the amount of build up for the fight, it only ended up lasting 64 seconds with dos Santos taking the belt from Velasquez. Since that fight dos Santos has gone on to defend the title against Frank Mir. Velasquez rebounded from the loss with a decisive TKO victory over Antonio Silva to earn the number one contender status. The FUEL TV Special will air on Tuesday December 25 at 8pm PT/11pm ET and is expected to replay on Dec. 26 at 2am PT/5am ET and 3pm PT/6pm ET and Dec. 27 at 7am PT/10am ET and 7pm PT/10pm ET.
