Another exciting match up has been added to the UFC's April 2013 FOX offering. The latest pits two of the biggest comeback stories of 2012 against each other in a Welterweight bout that could see the winner climb back into the divisional rankings. Brett Okamoto of ESPN was the first to report of this bout coming to fruition.

After dropping four of his last five, and looking to be fighting on borrowed time inside of the Octagon, Ohio's Matt Brown (16-11 MMA, 9-5 UFC) showed us in 2012 that he is truly "The Immortal" one. Brown put together a 4-0 record with three of those bouts coming to end via T(KO) finish. A veteran of 14 fights since he debuted in the UFC back in 2008 fresh off his stint on TUF 7, Matt Brown continues to be one of the busiest and most exciting fighters in the sport today.

His opponent Dan Hardy (25-10 MMA, 6-4 UFC) is one of those fighters that belongs on FOX. Come April 20th the former #1 Welterweight contender will be introduced to millions of new MMA fans when he trades with Brown.  Hardy came back to life in 2012 snapping a four-fight losing streak with a highlight reel finish of Duane Ludwig at UFC 146, which earned him KO of the night honors on a card stacked with Heavyweights. He would follow that up by defeating Amir Sadollah in front of his home crowd in Nottingham to get himself back on track toward his ultimate goal, another shot at the UFC Welterweight crown.

After a piss poor performance against Georges St. Pierre followed by three consecutive losses, Hardy has become more dangerous by joining the elite line up over at TriStar in Montreal under the tutelage of Firas Zhabi. Hey, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.  This fight will join the Henderson vs. Melendez title bout, and Cormier vs. Mir Heavyweight contest on the evenings main card.
