Whenever an inaccurate story hits the Internet, UFC president Dana White blasts the “hack” website for their incompetence. Well, light heavyweight Dan Henderson (Pictured) is now asking White to check his sources regarding the inside information surrounding Hendo’s injured knee.
It has been long rumored Henderson and Lyoto Machida will collide in a top contender contest sometime at the beginning of the new year. However, during Saturday’s post-fight show on FUEL TV, White stated Alexander Gustafsson might slide in there because the MCL the 42-year-old tore in August, which didn’t require surgery, “isn’t better.”
After catching wind of White’s statement, Henderson promptly took to his Twitter to set the record straight.
“Not sure where @danawhite thinks he’s hearing that my knee isn’t doing ok. It’s doing great. Slowly picking training up just like I do for every training camp,” Henderson tweeted. “I guess I’ll hv to show Dana personally how my knee feels.”
Prior to injuring his knee, Henderson was slated to challenge reigning 205-pound king Jon Jones for his crown at UFC 151. At the time, the former Strikeforce champion expected to be fully recovered by late December.
Henderson and Machida are rumored to meet at UFC 157 in February, although no official announcement has been made.

BJ Penn’s swollen eye hasn’t even healed and people are already calling for his retirement. The UFC president along with several members of the media think it’s time for the Prodigy to step down which is odd considering I just watched a guy go three-rounds with the future of the division.
In the fight business, there’s a cruel reality that athletes can turn old overnight. Well, in BJ Penn’s (Pictured) case, it took Rory MacDonald only 15 minutes to make the former two-divisional UFC champion look like he’s well beyond his prime.
If you were to ask UFC president Dana White, the 33-year-old needs to call it quits … again.
“BJ is a warrior,” White stated...

No matter what you think, Dana – we get it. We get how good Anderson Silva is, and if you think the media or the fans don’t get that, well, maybe it’s because the UFC markets the ring card girls butts over Anderson. Yep it’s true, the final shot of Silva vs. Bonnar promos was [...]
This is definitely a worthy co-main event, and a UFC Light Heavyweight title eliminator fight. Shogun Rua was once upon a time, a ruthless killer who was laying waste to everyone under the Pride Fighting banner. He’s never fought with the same ferocity since moving into a cage, sans the war with Dan Henderson, but he needs to channel his inner beast in this fight. Alexander...
