Strikeforce’s success against DREAM continued on Saturday in the main event of DREAM 14, as welterweight champ Nick Diaz forced Japanese legend Hayato “Mach” Sakurai to submit to an armbar in the opening round of their non-title headliner at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan.
In the evening’s co-main event, Ralek Gracie remained undefeated by earning a unanimous decision over “The Gracie Hunter” Kazushi Sakuraba, while Hiroyuki Takaya, Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto, and Ikuhisa “Minowaman” Minowa were also among the night’s winners.
