After having knee problems for months, Trigg called the doctor and had a 30-minute procedure to fix the issue. "It was a lot better than we thought it would be," Trigg told MMAJunkie.com.  He said that it took longer for him to wake up from the anesthesia than it did for the doctors to perform the surgery. Trigg will be out of training for two weeks while his knee heals. The injury was arthritis-related.  The doctors drilled holes into the bone to encourage collagen production.  They then cleaned up the area and shaved off some of the bone.  Initially, numerous MRIs had indicated that Trigg's injury was a torn meniscus, but the MRIs were incorrect.
