Breaking News! Reigning UFC welterweight king Georges St-Pierre has joined a long list of MMA fanboys who think Ronda Rousey (Pictured) is a tad on the hot side.
St-Pierre made his compliments after being told Rousey questioned his killer instinct and professed he wouldn’t be as popular if he wasn’t a good-looking Canadian.
“It’s very flattering for her to say that I’m a good looking guy and I want to say she’s a very beautiful woman, as well,” St-Pierre expressed during Wednesday’s press conference. “I feel very flattered.”
Rousey has taken exception to several things that have come out of St-Pierre’s mouth over the past several months. GSP inadvertently got caught in the “Rowdy” one’s crosshairs when he acknowledged her skills, but admitted he wasn’t interested in watching female fights.
Rousey countered by stating she doesn’t enjoy seeing GSP’s scraps because “He fights to win matches. He doesn’t fight to defeat his opponents.”
The UFC’s first women’s champ referenced St-Pierre again earlier this month when asked by the Las Vegas Review Journal if she thought she would be enjoying the same level of celebrity if she wasn’t attractive.
“Everybody keeps coming up to me and saying, ‘Oh, do you think if you didn’t look such a way, people would like you so much?’ I’m like, ‘Dude, if GSP was butt ugly, you wouldn’t want to know who he is so much,” Rousey expressed.
“I think he lucked out a lot that he’s Canadian. I love Canadians. They are the coolest, nicest, most patriotic people, and they will support their countrymen no matter what, and I think that’s commendable, but if GSP wasn’t really good looking, and really Canadian, he would be really unknown.”
Could this possibly be MMA’s version of a schoolyard crush where they’re afraid to say they actually like each other, but decide to pull each other’s hair instead???
Anyway, St-Pierre currently has bigger fish to fry in Rousey’s homie, Nick Diaz, at UFC 158.

GSP went in on women’s MMA after his fight with Carlos Condit and it didn’t sit well with Rousey.
