Apparently a thirty second fight can net you 500,000, even if you lose terribly.
James Toney made half a million at UFC 118 and was by far the top earner. Compare that to the 96,000 that was hauled in by lightweight champ Frankie Edgar, and you can’t help but be a little sad for the fact that the freakshow made more than the champ.
