Many athletes have attempted a career in Hollywood, and now former MMA fighter Gina Carano is taking her turn on the silver screen. Her new movie, Haywire, opened on Jan. 23 and has received decent reviews since then, getting an 81 percent rating from RottenTomatoes.com. It also earned $9 million at the weekend box office, good for fifth place on that weekend's earnings list. The 29-year-old is appearing in her first film and is starring alongside a star-studded cast that includes Ewan McGregor, Antonio Banderas and Michael Douglas.
