Strikeforce’s Gegard Mousasi will get his UFC feet wet quick with a shot at one of the top 205lb contenders, Alexander Gustafsson. The fight will take place in Gustafsson’s home country of Sweden on April 6th, at the Ericsson Globe Arena. This is be a big step up for Mousasi, but could solidify himself against one of top prospects in the UFC. A win for Gustafsson could propel him to a fight with Jon Jones in the Fall.
The UFC released a statement from Executive Vice President, Garry Cook on the success of Swedish events.

Gegard Mousasi will make his debut in the UFC on April 6 against Alexander Gustafsson.
MMASucka.com got word of the event earlier yesterday and UFC Officials have since confirmed the bout.
Mousasi (33-3-2) is 5-0-1 in his last six fights. Most recently “The Dreamcatcher” showed off his skills as he defeated Mike Kyle handedly at the final Strikeforce event.
