A heavyweight clash between Pat “HD” Barry and Shane Del Rosario has been added to The Ultimate Fighter 16 Finale on December 15th. Barry (7-5) will look to right the ship after dropping three of his past four bouts. He last competed at UFC on Fox 3 in May where he suffered a first round technical knockout to Lavar Johnson. Del Rosario (11-1), a Strikeforce veteran, will look to get back on the winning track after a loss in his UFC debut. He would fall via second round technical knockout to Stipe Miocic at UFC 146. Del Rosario has won all 11 of his fights by stoppage with eight of the victories coming by knockout. The TUF 16 Finale, which takes place in Las Vegas, will feature a matchup of heavyweight coaches Shane Carwin and Roy Nelson.
