Our friends over at Intravid.com give us their fight preview for Saturday’s main event fight between Vitor Belfort and Luke Rockhold.
This Saturday on FX UFC fans will get to tune in for the first free fight card since Benson Henderson and Gilbert Melendez went to war in San Jose last month. Though it will be very difficult for Saturday’s card to match the knockout fest that was UFC on Fox 7, it will certainly be an enjoyable night of fights for all. This weekend’s event is a bit limited on the amount of fighters featured with any type of star power which puts a lot of weight on the shoulders of main event middleweights Vitor Belfort and Luke Rockhold. So let’s take a look at how these two fighters stack up.

Vitor Belfort is a much better fighter than Luke Rockhold. He’s faster, more powerful and a far more accomplished striker and grappler than the former Strikeforce middleweight champion. Unfortunately for the UFC veteran his late success has been overshadowed by his TRT use. Kieth Kizer of the Nevada State Athletic Commission has gone on record saying...

Vitor Belfort has been the face of the UFC in Brazil for well over a decade now. Luke Rockhold has all of the makings of a future UFC superstar stateside. While it may be one of the more unlikely grudge matches that we never asked for; this will be one that...
Vitor is a freaking beast, TRT or not. Explosive, powerful, and just plain scary.
