On Thursday, the UFC announced former ESPN2 MMA Live host Jon Anik (Pictured) will be taking his talents to the Octagon. The 33-year-old will serve as a commentator and on-air talent for UFC events on FX and FUEL TV. “Jon Anik has been a top tier talent at ESPN for a number of years and I’ve made it a priority to bring him over to the UFC as we start our new partnership with FOX,” UFC president Dana White stated. “It’s critical to seek out the best talent in the business as our company continues to grow.” Immediately after White revealed their latest acquisition, Anik hopped a red-eye flight destined for Bristol, Connecticut to film his final episode of MMA Live with co-hosts Kenny Florian and Franklin McNeil.
