The year 2011 was arguably the greatest year for any fighter in the history of the UFC with Jon Jones racking up four impressive wins and capturing the UFC light heavyweight title in the process, making it look natural along the way.
The New York native is currently 16-1, with his only loss coming by disqualification against Matt Hamill for an illegal elbow in a fight that Jones was clearly winning. Having the longest reach in the company at 84.5 inches certainly helps, but it’s more about the ability of Jones which has brought him to where he is in the sport.
