The doctor on UFC tonight explained Jon’s gruesome injury and informed us that he would need about 6-8 weeks to recover. Nice to hear this but I still hope they make a number one contender fight between Lyoto Machida and Alexander Gustafsson.
PS: These Shoes are ridiculous even for Helwani.

Jon Jones takes in some meetings with his manager Malki Kawa. Despite how you feel about Jon Jones the person the guy is an absolute warrior with an iron will. Have to respect that. Wish him a good recovery and hope to see him back in action sometime later this year.

Jon Jones breaks his toe GIF
After seeing UFC 159 this past weekend and seeing Jon Jones break his toe , you probably thought you’ve seen everything and then something like this happens.
“At WOCS 25 in Brazil, a fighter was in his corner between rounds getting worked while a member of the production crew of WOCS was reapplying glue to a decal on the fighter’s banner. Some of the glue dripped down from...
Until they fight, which in my opinion, may never happen, the argument over the next few years will be Jon Jones vs. Anderson Silva. Over the last few years, I was convinced Anderson would have his way with Jones, but after watching Jones fill into a heavyweight frame and throw around Vitor and Chael around like kids, maybe Anderson wouldn’t fare so well against the 25-year-old...
Jon Jones has pretty much wiped the floor with some of the best fighters in the world. Anderson Silva has too. The debate will rage on until the Super Fight is made, but it looks like the young Jones has grown up a lot in a short amount of time. When asked if he has surpassed Anderson on the P4P list and this is how he replied:
“No,” replied the 25-year-old New Yorker....

How does the baddest light heavyweight alive get ready to tie Tito Ortiz for the most successful 205-pound title defenses in UFC history? By singing Rihanna’s “Stay” – a slow tempo love song, of course.
Jon Jones (pictured) was relaxed and full of confidence entering Saturday’s scrap with Chael Sonnen. After witnessing his destruction of Chael P., now we know why he was...
This thing looks like a gut bomb that I would want to avoid. Not even sure what this has to do with Jon Jones. The guy making this sh*t should probably stay far, far away from eating such items. Thanks to MiddleEasy for the heads up.

Sure, things did get a little messy this past weekend in Jersey. Eye pokes, broken thumbs and toes, technical decisions - basically it was just one of those nights in MMA that no one could possibly prepare for. However, three fighters did stand out about the rest in terms of performance, and ultraviolence. Let's start from the top. 1st Star - Pat 'Bam Bam' Healy ...

UFC 159 had more than a few memorable moments. It was a card built around West Linn's Chael Sonnen, a middleweight fighter coming off of a loss, who skillfully campaigned his way directly into the cage against light heavyweight champion Jon Jones. The day before the event, Nick Catone (9-4) was hospitalized due to dehydration, a result from his strenuous weight cut. His fight...
