The injury bug hits the co-main event of UFC 151 as Josh Koscheck has been forced to withdraw due to a bulging disk in his back. Koscheck was scheduled to face Jake Ellenberger in a key welterweight bout.
The unfortunate news was initially reported on UFC Tonight which airs on FUEL TV. There is no news yet on a possible replacement opponent for Ellenberger.
UFC 151 takes place on September 1st from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The event is headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between champion Jon Jones and number one contender Dan Henderson.
