Fighting and Entertainment Group (FEG) has announced four additional bouts for the "K-1 World GP 2010 in Yokohama," scheduled for April 3 at Yokohama arena in Yokohama, Japan. The event features the K-1 Heavyweight title match between Kyotaro and Peter Aerts. Spearheading the newly announced cards is the K-1 Super Heavyweight title match between the four-time K-1 WGP winner, Semmy Schilt, and fellow Golden Glory product, Errol Zimmerman. While FEG originally tapped Alistair Overeem as Schilt's opponent, Overeem declined the matchup, citing his intent to focus on MMA in 2010 in an effort to defeat Fedor Emelianenko.
The absentee Strikeforce heavyweight champion will instead face the former WKA European champion, Dzevad Poturak. Poturak, a native of Sarajevo, Bosnia, is an aggressive puncher who has garnered support among K-1 enthusiasts. He holds notable victories over Melvin Manhoef and the leg kick fiend, Daniel Ghita.
