Ken ShamrockA matchup between UFC hall of famers Ken Shamrock and Mark Coleman is reportedly in the works for a July 10 Impact Fighting Championships event in Brisbane, Australia, which is also slated to feature Josh Barnett vs. Geronimo “Mondragon” Dos Santos.

Shamrock (27-13-2) left the UFC following back-to-back losses to Tito Ortiz in 2006, before finally snapping a five-fight, four-year losing streak with a victory over Ross Clifton last February, but subsequently tested positive for steroids and was suspended for a year. While sidelined, Shamrock faced the death of his father in January as well as suffering a legal defeat to the UFC in February.

Coleman (16-10) was released by the UFC in February after suffering a second-round submission to Randy Couture in the main event of UFC 109, and has won just one of his last four fights.
