By Natalia Baage October 25, 2009After last night's controversial UFC 104 main even decision, the two fighters, Lyoto Machida and Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, and UFC President Dana White agreed that the two light-heavyweights are in need of a rematch. The bout saw Machida the victor by unanimous decision, although numerous others - excluding the judges - tallied up the score with Rua winning by, at least, split decision if not by unanimous decision. All three judges, Cecil Peoples, Marcos Rosales and Nelson Hamilton scored the bout for Machida. Peoples and Rosales gave Machida rounds 1, 2 and 3 (and Rua rounds 4 and 5), while Nelson Hamilton gave Machida rounds 2, 3 and 4 (and Rua rounds 1 and 5). There was a discrepancy between the judges' scorecards and what Rua felt about the fight. "In my opinion, I thought I'd won the last three rounds," Rua said through a translator.
